Late post- Disbanded Bands

"Oh Kay tagal din kitang minahal..."- Sugarfree
Sugarfree- Had their final concert last March 1, 2011 at Eastwood. I like their music. Ebe's voice is so soothing. It's a "pang patulog" kind of voice. Sugarfree is an emo band without the eye liner and emo fashion... haha... That's what I like about them. My favorite Sugarfree songs are "Burnout" and "Mornings and Airports". It's so sad that they are gone now, but Ebe is now going solo and a new album on the way.

Bamboo- Bamboo's voice is just soothing too. They have some patriotic song such as Noypi. My favorite song from the band is the lesser known songs such as "These Days"and "Muli".

I hope this 2 bands will be willing to do a reunion concert... after 7 years? parang heads lang... habang tumatagal tumataas ang presyo... hehe

Rockabye Baby- Rock Versions

"Shakedown 1979 Cool kids never have the time On a live wire right up off the street You and I should meet Junebug skipping like a stone With the headlights pointed at the dawn We were sure we'd never see an end to it all" -Smashing Pumpkins

A Mother's Cry

I want to hear you cry
It means you are by my side

Not seeing you
Doesn’t mean I’m not loving you

In your first word
I’m not with you

In your first step
I wished I was the one guiding you

In your first smile
I wished I was the one you are smiling to

This is a mother’s cry
Wishing I can hold you tight

This is a mother’s cry
Wishing I can sing you a lullaby

Originally titled as father's cry but since it's mother's day on Sunday I changed father to mother. next time if it's father's day I will repost this and post the original version... haha

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

A make believe.

I wonder what the world looks like
When you and me will share it together
You're the star and I'm you're lover
Our children playing with the clover
As the water pours down
We will join the whales as they swim by
We will unearth sharks and sting rays
We will hug turtles at the bay
At night we will be knights
Dragonflies will make it bright
We will fight evil monsters
That made our children falter
In the palace I'm the Queen
Happiness is what we bring
We give happy ending to every human being
No one is fear of living
In our castle you're the King
We fly using angel's wings
We give love to everything
This is a world where never ending make believe exist
Tomorrow in my sleep I will wake up in my dreams

Top 10 Myths about Introverts

Myth #1 – Introverts don’t like to talk.
This is not true. Introverts just don’t talk unless they have something to say. They hate small talk. Get an introvert talking about something they are interested in, and they won’t shut up for days.
Myth #2 – Introverts are shy.
Shyness has nothing to do with being an Introvert. Introverts are not necessarily afraid of people. What they need is a reason to interact. They don’t interact for the sake of interacting. If you want to talk to an Introvert, just start talking. Don’t worry about being polite.
Myth #3 – Introverts are rude.
Introverts often don’t see a reason for beating around the bush with social pleasantries. They want everyone to just be real and honest. Unfortunately, this is not acceptable in most settings, so Introverts can feel a lot of pressure to fit in, which they find exhausting.
Myth #4 – Introverts don’t like people.
On the contrary, Introverts intensely value the few friends they have. They can count their close friends on one hand. If you are lucky enough for an introvert to consider you a friend, you probably have a loyal ally for life. Once you have earned their respect as being a person of substance, you’re in.
Myth #5 – Introverts don’t like to go out in public.
Nonsense. Introverts just don’t like to go out in public FOR AS LONG. They also like to avoid the complications that are involved in public activities. They take in data and experiences very quickly, and as a result, don’t need to be there for long to “get it.” They’re ready to go home, recharge, and process it all. In fact, recharging is absolutely crucial for Introverts.
Myth #6 – Introverts always want to be alone.
Introverts are perfectly comfortable with their own thoughts. They think a lot. They daydream. They like to have problems to work on, puzzles to solve. But they can also get incredibly lonely if they don’t have anyone to share their discoveries with. They crave an authentic and sincere connection with ONE PERSON at a time.
Myth #7 – Introverts are weird.
Introverts are often individualists. They don’t follow the crowd. They’d prefer to be valued for their novel ways of living. They think for themselves and because of that, they often challenge the norm. They don’t make most decisions based on what is popular or trendy.
Myth #8 – Introverts are aloof nerds.
Introverts are people who primarily look inward, paying close attention to their thoughts and emotions. It’s not that they are incapable of paying attention to what is going on around them, it’s just that their inner world is much more stimulating and rewarding to them.
Myth #9 – Introverts don’t know how to relax and have fun.
Introverts typically relax at home or in nature, not in busy public places. Introverts are not thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies. If there is too much talking and noise going on, they shut down. Their brains are too sensitive to the neurotransmitter called Dopamine. Introverts and Extroverts have different dominant neuro-pathways. Just look it up.

Myth #10 – Introverts can fix themselves and become Extroverts.
Introverts cannot “fix themselves” and deserve respect for their natural temperament and contributions to the human race. In fact, one study (Silverman, 1986) showed that the percentage of Introverts increases with IQ.

Background made by me

I made this one!! hehehe

I Rave

Worthless days
Restless nights
Pathetic life
Lonesome fight
Airplane is landing
Picture fading
Job hunting
Hear me raving
Confidence sinking
Wind is whispering
Leave everything
Come and be my queen

Lost

I don't know if it's here
All I know is I'm real
I don't know if I will find you
All I know is that I lost you

I looked under my bed
"Oh my God!" that's what I said
I looked all around
I fell on the ground

Oh I will miss you
Oh why did I ever let you go

I don't know if I will replace you
All I know is that I lost you
I don't know if I can find you
All I know is that I lost you
All I know is that I lost you

Bum

Ako ay naghihintay
na may mangyari sa buhay
Lahat ay inaabangan
Hindi na makadaan

Tumirik ng ilang buwan
Ang aking kasiyahan
Wala ng kabuluhan
Ang manatili pang nag aabang

Buhay ng iba ay inaasam
Dahil di hamak na kasiyahan ay nararamdaman
Lumalasap at natitikman ang kamunduhan

Ako ay nakapako sa apat na sulok
Walang magawa kundi tumiklop
Kalunkutan ay pa daan daan
Kasiyahan ba ay nandyan lang?

My Fave TV Shows right now...

Because I'm still unemployed I have a chance to watch t.v. shows unlike before. I recently discovered Two and A half Men and Big Bang Theory while I was at Australia. When I'm back I'm trying to find which stations have their shows. They are the best comedy shows ever!! My brother and I were talking about the comedy shows here in the Phil. He said that they should just copy 2 and half men. I realized how ugly our shows here.

I'm also wacthing and discovering Gossip Girl. I like it because although I am a new viewer i can still get the story of the show.
Now I have to watch the 3 seasons of that show.

Before, the only shows I'm watching are reality shows because these are the shows I can watch in the morning and afternoon. Good shows like what I mentioned a while ago are all in the night slot.

hanggang sa susunod na palabas....

Balikbayan backs

I'm back to the land where i belong
I'm so glad that i like to sing a song
this is home...
it is the country where i'm born to live
but circumstances can't controll
sometimes i need to leave
i don't want to but it's an oppurtunity
oppurtunity that i can't find here in the country
while the president is new
the sky is now blue
my mind is clear
people do hope
we need to hold on the rope
faith is needed
in the land where poverty exceeded
let's change, let's ignite
althought we can't do it in a night
the fire is back
keep the flame alive
i'm so ecstatic i arrived
at the right time
at the riht moment
