Balikbayan backs
I'm back to the land where i belong
I'm so glad that i like to sing a song
this is home...
it is the country where i'm born to live
but circumstances can't controll
sometimes i need to leave
i don't want to but it's an oppurtunity
oppurtunity that i can't find here in the country
while the president is new
the sky is now blue
my mind is clear
people do hope
we need to hold on the rope
faith is needed
in the land where poverty exceeded
let's change, let's ignite
althought we can't do it in a night
the fire is back
keep the flame alive
i'm so ecstatic i arrived
at the right time
at the riht moment

Dirty Finger
I just voted yesterday. what a nice experience. i waited about hour and a half. if i know that pregnant women will be prioritized then i should at least try to be pregnant... hahaha... or i should be on the wheel chair or something. at least i know what to do next election.
By the way my dirty finger hurts (my finger that has indelible ink). Pauso kasi nanay ko. she was washing our clothes then she dipped her finger with clorox. then voila! the ink was gone. then i tried it also i dipped my finger with clorox. it's not completely gone. and it hurts right now. my mother said na "luto" yun finger ko. wahaha.
Wishing Spree
If I could have you little longer
I would embrace you forever
If I could have you all days of my life
I would be the luckiest person alive
II
If I could stay with you for so long
Nothing would go wrong
If I could only have one dream
It is you and me in every scene
III
If I could wish only one thing
It is you would give me a ring
If I could only fall for one guy
It is with you I'm willing to die
IV
If I would finish this line
I wanted that you would be mine
If I could only be the person you would love
I would thank the God above
V
Because you is all I ever wanted
But you've taken me for granted
I wanted to give you credit
For making me pathetic
VI
Even if my schedule is hectic
And you are quite athletic
I'm willing to stay with you forever
Until my life is over

Election Virgin
Tomorrow i will vote for the very first time. everything you will do for the first time is something special. you need to prepare and be ready for consequences or whatever the outcome.
i'm still thinking for who will i vote because it means he/she will be the leader for the whole 6 years... unless he/she wanted to stay longer. case in point: GMA... he/she will be an instrument to make this country be united and nicer to live in.

Rotational Sweat
“Bad trip talaga tong MERALCO bakit brownout pa rin ditto?”
There were a rotational brownout for 2 consecutive days already and I’m not loving it. SUMMER=HOT=SWEAT. HATE IT! I’m going to Australia if my Australian visa will be approved the only advantage of that trip is that Australia might be colder than here. Oh an additional advantage is the “bragging rights” that I will have. Hahaha The rest is I don’t know…
So let’s just see.
Beautiful machines
“Your wires are all exposed like a beautiful machine”
I’m hurting a lot….
Well the charger of my laptop is broken. Its wire is all exposed and it became an ugly machine. I’m into searching for jobs and internet and computer is my number 1 companion. I already surpassed some challenges before like I don’t have an internet connection at home and I need to go to computer shops regularly to upload the sites I made. My pet peeve would be going to these cheap computer shops. I don’t like the ambiance and the people. I’m praying that my father could fix it. He did it once he may just fixed it again. My promise to myself is to buy a new laptop once I get a job then ITouch later.
I and my laptop have been through a lot. It is one of the key to achieve my beloved diploma. I’m finished right now so I think I need to replace you. You kinda suck right now.
If I am to name my laptop it would be Trojan. Don’t ask why. Haha

TraPo
Each Step
Will bring my life miles away
As I start a new chapter
I’m whishing no debacles will takeover
The steps I’m making today
I’m flouting all the things they say
With my head up high
I will start a new life
Futile decisions, self-centered intensions
Today I’m going to be God’s laudable creation
Brainwashers
I can count with my fingersThe times I will have the power
This right that will hopefully change lives
The election will surely have a shock value
We are indeed thirsty for a rightful leader
As I shade the ballot
I’m having this authority
To let my voice be heard even for once in a while
I’m sick of traditional politicians
Who are like magicians
Who are using tricks to fool us
To manipulate us
They are giving deceitful messages
Damn those commercials
Some of them are far-fetched liars
They are trying to brainwash us
Using big, beautiful words
Fool is the one who fall from the crooked one

Wasak Friends
Four years of our friendship is worth a lifetime of memories. Every single day filled with idiotic chit-chat, futile discussions, insane jokes, and thousands of bulakbols will always be in my memory treasure chest. Who would have thought that I’d gain two true friends in college?
We became close because we were non-conformist, anti-social, happy-go-lucky girls. We were always against the norm—that’s why we were the only ones who truly understood each other. We almost risked our diplomas trying to stand up against our influential and powerful department chair.
Over bottles of beer, we laughed, shouted at each other for no reason, cracked corny jokes, and sang songs…
We barely ever argued because I genuinely believe we are soulmates. God made us so we could bring each other joy. You all made my college life such an unforgettable, wild experience.
We broke school rules, but who cares? We graduated. We made it!
As I write this blog entry, tears are swelling in my eyes. But I know that unlike other friendships I’ve had, this one will last longer than ever. It might sound cliché, but we’re going to be friends forever. I firmly believe that.
Lisa, my look-alike—you are the sister I’ve always wanted to have. Thank you for the countless lessons and values you taught me… some were good, but mostly bad… hahaha! Nonetheless, every single one is worth remembering.
Anj, one of the most talented people I know—I want you to know how much I admire you and everything you can do. You never hesitate to help me with things I struggle with. And most of all, thank you for financially supporting me… hahaha!
Marj, I just wish you’ll finish your thesis soon and get that diploma you’ve been dreaming of. Always remember that I’m praying for you.
To my wasak friends: goodbye for now, and good luck for tomorrow.

May nag tweet!!!
“Bokalista siya ng banda nila. May boses na mapapaibig ka. Halika tayo ay sumama. Nag gigitara kumakanta pa siya parang si Ely Buendia”
I am so happy that Ely added me on twitter. The feeling is the same when I passed my thesis defense. hahaha I first saw his twitter account last year pa November yata. His tweets are locked so I thought he will not add followers anymore. So last week I took a risk and added him. And he did!!! Haha!! Well I guess he adds everybody naman. I just thought he would be a snob. He has 20,000 ++ followers. I have a twitter but you will not get anything from me there. I made that just to follow Ely Buendia. Hahaha. Those little things make me happy.
Oh and by the way I saw this movie at Studio 23 called “Pare Ko”. I sort of watch it thinking that eraserheads will have a cameo like Rivermaya did. Rivermaya was there singing a song. Bamboo was there. He was the vocalist. Long hair pa siya noon. The movie is ugly. Well I didn’t watch it completely. I changed channels because it’s just ugly. Hahaha… I didn’t know na may “Pare Ko” na movie pala…
I am 20 years old right now and I started this blog when I was 16 years old a lot of things changed about me. One thing that didn’t changed is me liking Ely B.
Beauty Vice
My friends and I are planning to go to a comedy bar. We like to watch Vice Ganda perform. I watched some videos at YouTube and he is really funny. He is really good.
Vice caught my attention when he was a contestant on Game K N B? He was really witty on his answers.
Then at the first airing of Showtime, when he first used the “May Nag text” jokes I found it really hilarious. Ngayon kasi minsan corny. His jokes are funny but sometimes quite offensive. My friends once told me that I am like Vice because when I say offensive things and I say it like a joke they don’t find it insulting. That’s how Vice is, his jokes maybe distasteful but because he jokes to himself too, it didn’t seem too hurtful. He calls himself names like horse and etc. nanlalaet siya pero alam niya ding laitin sarili niya.
So this point of this post is … well I just like him… sana lalaki na lang siya… hahaha… I mean I like his humor… yung mga jokes minsan ay pag-iisipan mo talaga.
K Pop!
"I want nobody, nobody but you (clap clap)"
I am appalled by the sudden popularity of Korean music. I can’t understand why we Filipinos like these songs when we only know a single phrase from them.
I am not really against those Korean pop stars. What I am against are Filipinos who support them more than our own OPM artists. In my opinion, OPM is dying, and it’s because we listen more to these Chinese-looking guys called Super Junior and to Sandara’s group.
Okay, I must admit—when I was about 8 or 9 years old, I bought an album by Lââm/Larusso. As a kid, it’s normal to just listen to or like whatever is popular. So maybe I can forgive it if you’re around that age, but my god, if you’re older than that… I don’t know.
We usually like a song because of its music and lyrics. So how am I supposed to like or support these Korean stars when I don’t understand a single word they say? What I’m trying to say is that it’s fine to listen to and support these K-pop stars, but let us support our very own artists first. Try listening to Urbandub—their songs are mostly about love. Or, if you’re really into pop songs, there’s a group called… I forgot! Haha. It’s a group of teens who wear candy-colored clothes and sing pop novelty songs. They are VIVA artists.
As I write this rant, I am watching MTV and their Asian Takeaway segment. I just saw a video by Van Ness Wu. Does his name ring a bell? He’s from F4. I wonder why they don’t play OPM artists instead. We are better… far better than Van Ness Wu or Sandara Park.
So yeah, I am blaming the media for this whole crap…
