22nd Awit Awards Winner for Album of the Year:
Eraserheads: The Reunion Concert by The Eraserheads (Sony Music)
I remember the first time I listened to this album at the listening area of Music One. I went there to buy a cd. (TRIVIA: Mas marami akong nabiling original na cd gamit ang pera ko kaysa sa mga damit.) I think I was planning to buy Nut House of Hilera or any Eraserheads album like Cutterpillow, Circus etc. I really don’t like to buy the reunion album because I was waiting for the DVD format. The album cost about 300 bucks and the DVD is about 400 so sabi ko mas maganda na yung DVD na lang yung bilhin ko at least mapapanood ko pa sila. So when I saw that album I tried to listen to it. Grabeh Gandang ganda talaga ako dun. Parang nasa concert talaga ako. Partida masama pakiramdam ni Ely diyan. His mother died two days before the concert. Actually physically you could see that he’s not that moving too much. Pero sa iba para sa akin hindi naapektuhan yung pagkanta niya.
So medyo ang tagal ko na ata dun and I think the saleslady was already looking at me because 5 minutes lang dapat makinig. Habang hawak ko yung album literal na hindi ko matanggal yung kamay ko sa album!! I think I look like stupid… pero wala naman sigurong nakakita… I was holding the album at pilit kong tinatanggal yung kamay ko sa c.d. pero ayaw maalis. Haahahaha… sa sobrang ganda napabili ako ng mp3. kasi ang sarap na dikit na dikit at dinig na dinig mo yung boses ni ely pati yung music. Mas gusto ko iyong pakinggan na naka earphone kaysa sa speakers.

So now I am still waiting for the Final set album… hope it will come out real sooooon habang may pera pa ko….. hahaha …..
