Lines to live by…

These are some lines from some of my favorite songs. These lines make the song more meaningful and make these songs my favorite. When you have questions need to be answered just listen to a song. You might find your answers.

Tulad ng isang panagnip ako ay gagapang sa isip mo. Bawat halik ay tanda ng pangako na ako’y sa’yo at magiging akin lang sa pusot kaluluwa…” When somebody will tell this to me, I will fall. I will fall in love and also fall literally. It shows how a guy loves you and how he thinks of you. With these lines, I have an idea what really kiss means and when only should do it.

“Awit na nanawagan, baka sakaling mapakinggan. Pag-ibig na palaisipan sa kanta na lang idarraan. Nag-aabang sa langit sa mga ulap sumisilip sa likod ng mga tala kahit sulyap lang darna…” It is not really about darna or any super hero. It’s about loving or liking someone who is impossible to love you. He or she maybe famous people, already take, doesn’t know you, etc.

“Di mo na kailangan mag alinlangan kung tama ang gagawin mo. Basta huwag kalimutang mag dahandahan kung di sigurado sa kalalabasan… kalalabasan ng binabalak mo. Maliit na butas lumalaki konting gusot dumarami, kung di mo maibabalik sa limot akala kapag namulat ka sa maling akala…” It is a friendly reminder that we should always keep on mind. To think twice, trice in everything we do or say.

“In a world where everybody hates a happy ending story it is wonder love can make the world go round. And baby you don’t bring it down and turn your face into a frown it’s funny but I’ll say it anyway… Girl I’ll stay through the bad times…” It’s a line to live by. Always remember to smile even there is a lot of problems besides you. Everybody is need to be love and be loved. And for me, there is always someone who is there through good and bad times. That is my parents and God.

Nagtatanong, bakit mahirap sumabay sa agos ng iyong mundo? Simple lang naman ang buhay kung ika’y matino…” A simple answer to a hard question. SIMPLE LANG ANG BUHAY KUNG IKA’Y MATINO… just follow these line and I promise your life will be fine.

Counting the hundred Islands

My goal for this trip was to count how many islands there really are in the Hundred Islands... laki ng problema ko, 'noh?

We went to the Hundred Islands to snorkel and see the mangroves. I woke up at 4:40 a.m. to eat breakfast and get ready to go to school. My mother accompanied me because it was too early for me to go to school alone. I arrived just in time, and after waiting a few minutes, we left.

On the bus, I was with my friends. We just talked, listened to an iPod, took pictures, and ate for more than 4 hours. We arrived in Pangasinan at about 1:30 p.m., then we ate our late lunch. I think it was my first time eating that much, just from spending long hours inside the bus! We ate daing na bangus, lechon kawali, and vegetables.

We went to our hotel to drop off our things. Our room was just right for the four of us. We changed our clothes and put on our swimsuits, then we boarded a boat to go to the islands.

First, we went to the Pinoy Big Brother Island to see the Pinoy Big Brother House. Umakyat kami somewhere around 120 steps daw. At the top, we saw the 123 islands... hehehe hindi ko nabilang eh, sinabi ng tourist guide. Sayang!! We took pictures. It was quite tiring to go up and down.

After that, we went to Quezon Island to snorkel. It was quite relaxing to see the fish and corals down there. After that, feeling so cold because we were all wet and it was raining, we went back to the bus and headed somewhere where there were mangroves. Naglakad kami for how many minutes. It was getting dark already. So ayun… nagtanim kami nang madilim…

After those tiring activities, kain kami agad. Again, I ate a lot for the second time. Sa wakas, tataba na ako!! We took a bath, then straight to bed kami because the next day, kailangan pa naming gumising at 7:00 a.m… hayyyy…

NEXT DAY…

So we woke up at about 6:45 a.m. and ate breakfast. Again, this was my first time to eat a lot of breakfast. I’m not used to eating a lot in the morning. We needed to listen to someone who talked about the Hundred Islands. Then we went to souvenir shops to buy some souvenirs. I bought a shell with my brother's name on it.

I’m so lucky. Even though I was miles away from home, I was able to watch Sponge Cola on A.S.A.P. performing “Bitiw” in one of the stores there!

Then we had to go back to the hotel and pack our things to get ready to go home. We ate our lunch (it was still raining very hard), then we went straight to the bus. Another 4 hours there... my butt already hurt. We did the same things again, but this time, we also played sungka inside the bus.

Then I was back in Manila, back to my home. I ate a lot again. I’m so happy I was able to catch Sponge Cola again singing “Nakapagtataka,” a revival of an APO classic. When my parents heard it, all I heard were bad comments about their version. The original is very relaxing, while Sponge Cola’s version is full of angst. Sumisigaw lang daw. Oh man!! They are too old for this kind of music. For me, it’s their own take on the song. They sang it the way they sing their own songs.

Hay… I need to rest. I will not go to school tomorrow…

Good Morning!!

Being a girl is so hard. Imagine this, boys: having a period and still having to look nice and smell good, or carrying a baby in your womb for 9 months and staying away from smoking and alcohol. That is so hard, I bet.

I woke up at 7:30 am. I turned my radio on, and to my surprise, “Lunes” by Sponge Cola was playing. Next was “With A Smile” (our high school theme song), followed by “Panahon na Naman” by Rivermaya. It was really a good morning! My friend Barbie texted me, sending quotes and jokes, so I texted her back with the same kind of content. We talked about anything and everything.

This coming week will be fun. My organization has lots of things to do since it’s our org week. I have plenty of quizzes. I will watch “Tulad Ng Dati” this Wednesday. On Tuesday, Sponge Cola will be on OPM (Our People’s Music) on 97.1 DWLS FM. On Friday, Sponge Cola will have an album launch at Metrowalk. I also have an upcoming snorkeling trip this Saturday at the Hundred Islands. I’m so excited! This Sunday, Sponge Cola will be on A.S.A.P. for their album launch.

I’m really excited for everything happening this week!
