Manila and its unknown part

I thought I didn’t like the Manila episode of Parts Unknown. It is not the usual Anthony Bourdain show that I know and love . I thought that they featured few Filipino dishes and focused on the slums area knowing it is a travel and food show.

But I pondered and finished the whole episode. I don't want to accept the fact that I cried on the last part of the show. The good thing is, I learned that I'm not the only one.

They featured on why Filipinos are so damn caring. They did that by focusing on Overseas Filipino Workers. They show how we love balikbayan boxes and that OFWs will throw anything they have in that big box. That inside of the box is worth of thousands of sweat and tears. We have the box so we can have a piece of them because they are miles away.

Filipinos are so damn caring because our government is a trash and we only have one another to take care of each other.

We learn to be strong inspite of the wildest storm, we learn to be brave inspite of the wildest monsters, we learn to sing in the midst of difficulties.

That's the Filipino spirit...

Thank you Anthony and staff for showing the entire world that Filipinos should be known not only because of Manny Pacquiao, but because of the Filipino spirit we possess.

Thank you Anthony Bourdain 💚💜💙 continue to do that with other countries so a part of them will not be unknown anymore.

Lougee- The Voice of the Philippines Season 2

Tama ba yung nakita ko? Si Lougee ba yung nasa 1:39?
I'm so excited. I am a big fan since her Mojofly days...
Sana naman hindi siya maging Aia part 2.

In a myx interview :

LOUGEE Answers The Question: "Kung Kasali Ka Sa 'The Voice' At Lahat Ng Coaches Humarap, Sino Ang Pipiliin Mo?"

I hope makasali siiya sa season 2 :)

Beauty Vice

“Banal na aso, santong kabayo natatawa ako HiHiHiHi”

My friends and I are planning to go to a comedy bar. We like to watch Vice Ganda perform. I watched some videos at YouTube and he is really funny. He is really good.

Vice caught my attention when he was a contestant on Game K N B? He was really witty on his answers.

Then at the first airing of Showtime, when he first used the “May Nag text” jokes I found it really hilarious. Ngayon kasi minsan corny. His jokes are funny but sometimes quite offensive. My friends once told me that I am like Vice because when I say offensive things and I say it like a joke they don’t find it insulting. That’s how Vice is, his jokes maybe distasteful but because he jokes to himself too, it didn’t seem too hurtful. He calls himself names like horse and etc. nanlalaet siya pero alam niya ding laitin sarili niya.

So this point of this post is … well I just like him… sana lalaki na lang siya… hahaha… I mean I like his humor… yung mga jokes minsan ay pag-iisipan mo talaga.

Si Ely mismo…

“Turn off the lights now!!”

Ely is in the commercial once again!! He is the new endorser of Coke Zero alongside Billy Crawford and Gabby dela Merced. Ely is the star endorser I must say. Hehehe… He is the person I know that keeps on looking better when getting older. I said before that Ely looks like Smokey Manoloto when he is only starting with Eraserheads. Anyways, at ASAP Pupil was there to perform. Before that Rafael Rossel and Angelica Panganiban was mentioned by the host. Then they also said the name of Yan Yuzon. Then I saw some dancers then I thought Yan will dance. Oh well, he played guitar which what he does best. He is great. Then Pupil played “Disconnection Notice” with Gary V. it was nice. I think it’s the first time Ely and Pupil performing in ASAP for how many years. He was interviewed by Iya and asked something and he said something like he starts with nothing….etc… Then in his commercial he was telling it is good to start with zero. He really looks good there. Pero at the billboard parang may photoshop effect. Well anyways astig…

As I about to finish this post I saw another commercial of Ely. This time he is not alone. He is with Raimund Marasiga, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro. Yeah boy!! It is an eraserheads commercial for Sandbox. I am now starting tolove commercials since puro si Ely ang nakikita ko. Hehehe…. Ely has 3 commercials right now, the Ako mismo commercial, the Coke Zero and the Sandbox commercial. Astig talaga… yung commercial is really good they are just performing “alapaap” pero astig talaga… tapos parang they are just laughing and hanging out…
