TraPo

I’m sick of traditional politicians Who are like magicians Who are using tricks to fool us To manipulate us They are giving deceitful messages Damn those commercials

Each Step

The steps I’m making today
Will bring my life miles away

As I start a new chapter
I’m whishing no debacles will takeover

The steps I’m making today
I’m flouting all the things they say

With my head up high
I will start a new life

Futile decisions, self-centered intensions
Today I’m going to be God’s laudable creation

Brainwashers

I can count with my fingers
The times I will have the power
This right that will hopefully change lives
The election will surely have a shock value
We are indeed thirsty for a rightful leader
As I shade the ballot
I’m having this authority
To let my voice be heard even for once in a while
I’m sick of traditional politicians
Who are like magicians
Who are using tricks to fool us
To manipulate us
They are giving deceitful messages
Damn those commercials
Some of them are far-fetched liars
They are trying to brainwash us
Using big, beautiful words
Fool is the one who fall from the crooked one

Wasak Friends

Four years of our friendship is worth of lifetime memories. Each day is worth of idiotic chit chats, futile discussions, insane jokes and thousands of bulakbols will always be in my memory treasure chest. Who have thought that I would gain 2 friends in my school?

We became close because of being non-conformist/anti social/ happy-go-lucky girls. We are always against the norm. That’s why we are the only ones who understand each other. We almost risk our diploma in attempting to go against our influential and powerful chair.

With a bottle of beer we laughed, shouted at each other without any reason, made corny jokes, and sing songs …

We barely have an argument because I believed that we are “soul mates”. God made us so we could make each other happy. You made my college life a staggering experience.

We violated school rules. But who cares we graduated, we made it!

As I write this blog entry… tears wanted to roll down. But I know unlike the other friendships I made, this would go longer than ever and it maybe a cliché but we would be friends forever. I firmly believed on that.

Lisa, to my look a like, you are the sister I always wanted to have. Thank you for the various lessons and values you taught me… some are good but mostly are bad… hahaha but nonetheless it is worth remembering.

Anj, one of the most talented people I know I wanted you to know that I admire you and all things you could do. You don’t have second thoughts helping me in things I could not do. And most of all thank you for financially supporting me… hahaha

Marj, I just wish you will now do your thesis and have the diploma you dreamed of. Always remember that I am praying for you.

To my wasak friends goodbye for now and good luck for tomorrow.

Binder

The moon is the only one
That binds us together
The distance keeps me falling apart
This empty air
Strikes my falling hair
It hits me every time I hear your name
Breathing the same air
Seeing the same clouds
We are but a miles away
Life is enormously unfair

May nag tweet!!!

“Bokalista siya ng banda nila. May boses na mapapaibig ka. Halika tayo ay sumama. Nag gigitara kumakanta pa siya parang si Ely Buendia”

I am so happy that Ely added me on twitter. The feeling is the same when I passed my thesis defense. hahaha I first saw his twitter account last year pa November yata. His tweets are locked so I thought he will not add followers anymore. So last week I took a risk and added him. And he did!!! Haha!! Well I guess he adds everybody naman. I just thought he would be a snob. He has 20,000 ++ followers. I have a twitter but you will not get anything from me there. I made that just to follow Ely Buendia. Hahaha. Those little things make me happy.

Oh and by the way I saw this movie at Studio 23 called “Pare Ko”. I sort of watch it thinking that eraserheads will have a cameo like Rivermaya did. Rivermaya was there singing a song. Bamboo was there. He was the vocalist. Long hair pa siya noon. The movie is ugly. Well I didn’t watch it completely. I changed channels because it’s just ugly. Hahaha… I didn’t know na may “Pare Ko” na movie pala…

I am 20 years old right now and I started this blog when I was 16 years old a lot of things changed about me. One thing that didn’t changed is me liking Ely B.

Beauty Vice

“Banal na aso, santong kabayo natatawa ako HiHiHiHi”

My friends and I are planning to go to a comedy bar. We like to watch Vice Ganda perform. I watched some videos at YouTube and he is really funny. He is really good.

Vice caught my attention when he was a contestant on Game K N B? He was really witty on his answers.

Then at the first airing of Showtime, when he first used the “May Nag text” jokes I found it really hilarious. Ngayon kasi minsan corny. His jokes are funny but sometimes quite offensive. My friends once told me that I am like Vice because when I say offensive things and I say it like a joke they don’t find it insulting. That’s how Vice is, his jokes maybe distasteful but because he jokes to himself too, it didn’t seem too hurtful. He calls himself names like horse and etc. nanlalaet siya pero alam niya ding laitin sarili niya.

So this point of this post is … well I just like him… sana lalaki na lang siya… hahaha… I mean I like his humor… yung mga jokes minsan ay pag-iisipan mo talaga.

K Pop!

“I want nobody nobody but you (clap clap)”

I am appalled by the sudden popularity of the Korean music. I can’t understand why we Filipinos like those songs even we just now a certain phrase in the song.

I am not really against on those Korean pop stars. I am against to those Filipinos who choose or support more on them than on OPM artists. In my opinion OPM is dying and that is because we listen more to these Chinese looking guys called Super Junior and to Sandara’s group.

Ok. I must admit when I was about 8 or 9 years old I bought this album by Larusso. She is a . as a kid its ordinary to just listen or like what is popular. So maybe I will forgive if you are about that age but my god if you are above that… I don’t know…

We like a song because of its music and lyrics. So how would I like or support this Korean stars if I don’t understand a single word they say? What I’m trying to say it’s ok to listen and support these Korean pop stars but let us support first our very own artists. Try listening to Urbandub their songs are mostly about love, or if you are really into pop songs there is a group called… I forgot!! Haha. It’s a group of teens who wear candy colored clothes and sing pop novelty songs. They are VIVA artists.

As I write this rant I am watching MTV and they have this Asian Takeaway. I saw this video by Vaness Wu. Does his name ring a bell? He is a F4. I wonder why they don’t play OPM artists. We are better… far better than Vaness Wu or Sandara Park.

So I am blaming media for this whole crap…
