Mga gumulantang sa aking mundo sa nakaraang araw/week...

I used that line from cueshe’s song because yan lang yan ang naisip ko. Please for give me. hehe…(don’t judge my post by it’s opening line)

I received a handful of appalling news whether it’s in the music, showbiz, politics and my life area. In the music area, you know that I am still in the bolt from the blue about Rico and Rivermaya, maybe because they still mum about the issue. But I think they have this “explosive” confession on the June issue of Myx Mag. Then next is about the blind item about Ely Buendia, again. That he is the reason about delayed of the contest that he judged. Another is I read in the yahoo groups I read about Raimund and Myrene is still not married. Shocking isn’t it? in the radio area, mga few years ago I am listening in the radio station like Campus Radio, W Rock , Mellow and NU in the side. These radio stations ay medyo less talk and more music. So ngayon nung nawala yung Campus more on NU na ako and konting RT at Magic. Then pag nakikinig ako more on talk na like sa RT and Magic, medyo daring na yung mga pinag-uusapan nila. I never thought that is allowed sa radio. Like talking about the size of your wang to your“experiences”.

In showbiz area naman, you all know about Paris Hilton being house arrested. I am thwarted. Pero I don’t know if she is back on jail. Nakakaasar kasi they thought money is so powerful. Eto ding si Lindsay Lohan, she is such a loser. Both of them actually. It’s so sad because children idolized them. I mean they should be a GOOD role model. What will those children might think, na it’s good to drink and take drugs basta my money… sa local naman, we all know about the Gretchen/John and Ruffa/Ylmaz issues. Nakakaloka na talaga ang mga nangyayari sa planet earth.

Sa life ko naman, I learned that this friend of mine na itago na lang natin siya sa pangalang Real ay kinasal na at may anak na itago nating sa pangalang Dj. She is one of my good friends sa high school because she is my classmate for 2 years. Nakaka disappoint because she is intelligent pa naman, I mean she could be the next whatsoever if she just forget about sex. Now I have this thing on my mind that I will not be pregnant, maybe when I am married pwede na. Kasi I have a classmate na teenage mother, yung cousin ko din and I don’t want to be in that line. Pero nakaka inspire thin because they are not living the “teenage life” anymore. But I am still proud of her because she still continues to have this “angel” in her life. I mean it’s so easy to get rid of her by simply buying “pamparegala” or anything na mabibili sa quiapo. But you know everything happens for a reason. I think with that baby you will be stronger person, you will learn to appreciate things, you will learn to love life… but I know it’s hard but I like to tell you that I’m just here waiting to call me. You may not believe me or find it just a joke because it’s coming from me (ako kasi yung parang laging nag papatawa or everything I said is joke) but not with this kind of situation my friend. Sana you will continue your studies because as I said you are intelligent. Don’t make your angel be hindrance to your success because she is not. It should be your inspiration. She is quite pretty. I saw the picture in your friendster. I wish you all the contentment in life.

First day hi

“First day of school dapat cool na cool mas malamig pa sa tubig ng swimming pool”

Ok ok ok… pasukan na… on Wednesday it’s our first day of classes. It’s weird because I kind of miss school. Then when I’m in school, I kind of hate it. gulo talaga ng utak ko. I miss my friends slash classmates. I miss studying in an air conditioned room (we have aircon in our home but we open it during night only) , I miss my professors (??? Sipsip), I miss commuting, I miss my baon, I miss taft fast food restaurants, I miss my ugly uniform, I miss St. scho… hahaha… well I am sophomore already. Ang bilis. It’s like just yesterday I am in kindergarten, and then I’m step closer to my commencement exercise (yan pa rin ba tawag pag college. Whatever!) I miss wearing toga… hehehe… but siguro before graduating I must memorize first my college hymn, alma mater or whatever you call that. sooory st. scholastica di ko pa memorize… but I know you will forgive me because I still stick in your school in spite of irrational reasons in mind ( it is because there’s no boys… not…) do you know that I really like to transfer to other school but I’m still thankful that you’re on my side (what the…sino na sa side ko si st. scho? ang labo ko…) I mean buti na lang you still accept me I had been bad in your school (nah… di naman) but what I can do? I think all I can do is to stick to you for 3 more years and now I am starting to live the one year from that three. Hehehe… buti na lang na impeach agad ako dun sa org na sinalihan ko. Hahaha… ;> I am not attending daw the meetings. Eh wala silang magagawa busy ang sked ko noh, bakit ko pa sila uunahin I will not earn golden points. I still can’t believe 2nd year na ko… ang saya.. hehe… ang babaw ko noh… yep that’s me… mababaw pero deep…

Hula

“Hula di sapat… hula ang lahat. Bukas magwawakas na ba ang lahat?”

I saw the blind item about ely buendia yesterday. Saktong sakto lang kasi yung pinapanood ko yung America’s next top model ata yun nag commercial. Then di ko sinasadyang nalipat sa 7. tamang tama yung pinapakita is about sa isang rakista. So I na intriga ako. Seldom na nagkakaroon ng blind item sa mga rockstars.(well, but not foe ely suki nay an eh). I can’t understand at first kasi baklang words yung ginagamit. Ang catch dun ay yung rakistang yun ay nag papaimportante. I think that happened when ely became the judge in Pinoy Pop Superstar. The reason why the show na na-late daw because of that rakista. Ang reason daw ay dahil nag-aaway yung rakista at ang kanyang “jowang manager”. So sino paba yung may jowang manager. I can/t think of other rockstars kundi si ely lang. so malay mo may iba pang rockstar na may jowang manager at nag judge sa isang contest. Pero lalong naging clear sa akin ang lahat when nabanggit yung Mongol. Tapos itago daw sa pangalang Benny Espiritu. I am not sure if Benny nga basta sounds like that. kakaiba talaga si ely ha, he’s everywhere talaga. Yung about nga kay Rico Blanco hindi masyado lumalabas sa t v. only sa mga music channels plus Wazzup…
I have something in my mind regarding issue like kung naniniwala ako o hindi pero wag na lang. to give respect to the rock icon. Naks!!

20) Hiwaga by Up dharma down- as much I wanted to put it on number 1, hanggang dyan lang muna sila. Their album fragmented contains lots of good songs that I know na mag a-appear sa mga countdown soon.

19) Di ko alam by Pumping Pluto- if di mo alam itong kanta at banda sorry ka.

18) Ambisyoso by Kamikazee- Hindi man nila napantayan ang kasikatan ng “Narda” with this song nag ta-top pa rin naman sa mga countdowns. This video also shows bands’ other “side”

17) Boston Drama by Typecast- parang bago sa pandinig ang typecast pero matagal tagal na din sila sa music scene. Na ka ilang albums na sila pero with their new album Every Moss and Cobwebs mas sila nakilala.

16) A Promise by Chicosci- Chicosci’s first single from their self titled album.

15) Kung ayaw mo na sa akin by Sugarfree- this is the sound of the new sugarfee.why new sound? They have new drummer plus I think nag mature na sila. They are getting old. Pati siyemore paf-iisip

14) Dear Kuya still by Sugarfree- it’s so sad that these songs from sugarfree were not so popular kahit na magaganda itong mga kanta.

13) Pintura by Kjwan- sabi nila parang daliri part 2 but I don’t care. tignan mo they won at the recent concluded Myx award.

12) 7 black roses by Chicosci- they also have this new sound but still the vampires still accepts them and parami na sila ng parami.

11) Will you ever learn by Typecast- astig na orig!!

10) Upside down by 6cyclemind- it seems that 6cyclemind doesn’t stop making hits. This song is from their 3rd album na puro coevers ang Home.

9) Sunburn by Sugarfree- still in their 5 on the floor album. Hit naman itong song na to dahil it’s just right kasi summer nila nilabas itong song na to.

8) Tatsulok by Bamboo- another old song na ni-revive. Katulad ng 6cyclemind at Rivermaya nag release sila ng album na puro covers to give homage to the artist na pinakikinggan nila.

7) Love team by Itchyworms- a song about love teams na napapanood sa telebisyon. Yung sa mga telenobela. Sa palabas ang sweet sweet rignan kulang nalang ay langamin sila sa ka sweetan. Patok na patok naman sa manonood. Pero pag alis sa set… dedmahan.

6) Ikaw Lamang by Silent Sanctuary- sounds new band ulit pero matagal na din sila. Sarkie Sarangay ay ang bago nilang vocalist.

5) Sundo by Imago- after the very upbeat “Tara let’s” I’m so glad na nag-release ulit sila na medyo slow and soothing mala “Akap”.

4) Inosente lang ang nagtataka by Rivermaya featuring Raymund Marasigan- well hindi ganun kasikat. Pero bayaan ninyo na ako. Last song nila ito with Rico eh. Sayng I’m waiting pa naman sa Rivermaya featuring Ely Buendia.

3) Tuliro by Sponge Cola- I like this song it makes me tuliro. Labo.

2) Prinsesa by 6cyclemind- bosa nova ang feel sa song na ito. Parang kakaiba kasi alam nating isang rock song ito at pati yung band so kakaiba talaga pero ok naman.

1)Magbalik by Calla lilly- katulad ng sinabi ko mas gusto kung Up dharma o kaya urbandub ang nasa top spot pero wala akong magagawa. Sikat to eh. I guess. Siguro kaya nasa number 1 ito dahil nung nasa countdown ito eh bakasyon kaya natutukan ko sa myx.

Panic Buying

June 2, Saturday

“Sinong marunong pumunta pwede ba akong sumama sa Divisoria…”

That song is nothing to do what I will post. I didn’t go to divisoria. We went to Glorrieta with my lil brothers and my mother. Then I went to the record store and bought Rivermaya Live and Acoustic Featuring Slapshock. I buy that c.d. because there are videos included there. My mind is still in shock about Rico left the band. So maybe to stay away from nostalgia I bought that c.d. I also bought this Fudge magazine where Rivermaya is in the cover, thinking that Rico and the band will say something more about the rumors. But no, they didn’t. pero hindi ko pa masyado nababasa. There’s a lot of reading materials still on hold. I’m also looking forward to the Myx Magazine. I think they are also in the cover. I also bought Stainless Longannisa by bob ong. I still not able to read it because I’m not yet finish in reading America is the Heart. Nobela eh. Ang haba.

Replacing A Vocalist

Um… I just want to make a list yung mga banda na nag replace ng kanilang vocalist. Ito lang yung alama ko:

+Eraserheads- first Ely Buendia to Kris Dancel

+Rivermaya- Bamboo Manalac to Rico Blanco to ?

+Mojofly- Kitchie Nadal to Lougee Basabas

+Silent Sanctuary- Norman(?) to Sarkie Sarangay

+Sandwich- Mark Abaya to Raymund Marasigan

+South Border- Brix Ferraris (tama ba?) to Luke Mejares to Vince Alaras and Duncan

I heard Rivermaya is replacing their vocalist because Rico left the band. I also heard I don’t know if it’s true, but they are planning to have this reality talent search mala Rockstar Inxs.
As you can see in my list, some of the bands na ni-replace by their own member ay mas maganda ang kinalanbasan, yung iba lang. take the situation of Sandwich, they are big now unlike dati, I guess. Rivermaya, maganda din ang kinalabasan when Rico takeover Bamboo’s position. Let’s see naman yung mga ni-replace na hindi ka member. Nung nawala si Ely at pinalitan ni Kris Dancel who joined the group but now eventually nag disband din sila at ngayon ay naging Cambio na. Sa Mojofly naman, I can’t say whether Lougee made the band more popular because I don’t know Mojofly’s popularity when Kitchie was still there but all I can say is they are stable naman with today’s band scene. Like when they have a gig in my school, I can say that sila yung isa sa malakas ang tilian ng students. Siguro thanks to that shampoo commercial and Ali (read: ALL girls school). Silent Sanctuary is an unknown band back then pero ngayon nasa myx hit chart yung song nila. Sa south border naman, every time na ni-re replace ang vocalist kumakagat naman sa panlasa ng tao. I think being lucky is also included here.
What I’m trying to say is, people agrees and accepts on whatever changes that occurred, whether these bands were replaced by old members or by people outside the band. Sabi nga nila “the only constant thing in life is change” (haha tama ba?) sana rivermaya’s popularity will be the same whatever changes will occur.

Dear friends, I am no longer with the band and management of rivermaya. I have been with the group from the start, and after 14 great years, I am now quite excited about the chance to finally do other things with my life, pursue endeavors outside of the entertainment spotlight. This is a desire I have made known to my group as early as 2005 and have already postponed several times. I will surely miss the music and the fans and will always cherish the experience. I hope you will continue supporting the group and the whole of opm. My work is done. Thank you for all your incredible love and support.

These past few weeks there’s a lot of speculation about Rico and the band. Like Rico will go solo and name it Blanco which at first pa lang I know it’s not true. If he names it like that it will be like Bamboo. Anyways, at the message above it’s lucid that Rico will do something outside the entertainment industry which is kind of sad. I read at Pinoy Mag he tells that he wanted to study fine arts either here or outside the country. It’s depressing that someone like Rico will leave the music industry. But it’s ok because he initiated a million flames

Ang daming umaalis ngayon ng biglaan. Karina, manager of Mojofly di na nila manager. So I am worried because maybe Mojofly is next band that will vanish. Sugarfree muntik muntikan na din pala. Naku if many good bands will disappear one by one yung mga predictions of other people will be true that this “bandamania” will be gone soon. Sabi nga ni Raymund “some are gone won’t stay together some will break apart for the better. Some are gone and will make me stronger” Kaya naman I am gonna live forever!!

+Tuesday s With Morrie- I finished that already and it’s really good. It’s a book that everyone must read before they die. It’s uplifting. I learned not to be shy to show your feelings towards other people because if you will not show it now kelan pa. Another is its better late than never. And it’s my motto. Haha…

+America is in the Heart- I’m not yet finish reading it. It’s about the life of a poor Filipino peasant boy who wanted to go to America. Lot of struggles came at his life. And…. I don’t know I’m still reading it.

+“The Love Bus”-The Love is in the bus and class- it’s written by me. haha… it’s not yet finish. Wala lang… kalokohan ko nanaman… I’m planning to post it if I’m finish already.

+that even if I’m not yet a fan of eraserheads when the news that Ely Buendia will be leaving the band I still remember that he appeared on a News oriented show and parang ang title ng news about them ay “erase na ba ang eraserhead?”?

+My father loves Bamboo. That’s the only Filipino band that he likes and a little bit of eraserheads and Rivermaya on the side?

+My mother likes eraserheads. Para daw kasing beatles. I don’t know pano niya na compare yung dalawa. I mean hindi naman siya nag surf sa internet or hindi naman siya ganun ka aware about the band. Ang gulo ko. Basta ang galing kasi na compare niya yun without someone telling her. I guess.

Bye bye na… aalis ka na!!!

“bye bye na aalis ka na. bye bye na rin ba sa ating alaala?”

I heard a while a go at hit 99.5 Rt that Rico really left Rivermaya. I don’t get it. Why he left the  band eh they are very popular here and outside the country. It’s a shocker. Yung last gig of the band was last May 4 with Sandwich and Pupil at Metro Bar. I was about to go there, kaso lang I have no money. If they just tell that’s their last gig pumunta sana ako. Now he is going solo daw.

Now there’s a lots of thoughts coming from my head. Why vocalists leave the band and go solo? Here’s a list of some vocalist na nag solo.

+Ely Buendia- nag solo siya even if he is still at eraserheads. Pero after that he continued to be the vocalist of the band. Then after that he formed another band-The Pupil.

+Jet Pangan-but he eventually went back sa kanyang band na The Dawn.

+Barbie Almalbis-after Hungry Young Poets naging Barbie’s Cradle then ngayon she goes solo.

+Kitchie Nadal- Mojofly’s ex-vocalist plus Rico’s cousin.

+Dong Abay- formerly vocalist of Yano

+Rico Blanco (?)- I don’t know…

Sana it’s not like eraserheads break-up. I hope Rico and his ex-band mates have still the communication and friendship. It’s weird nga. Last week ata yun, I was listening to their last album “Isang Ugat, Isang Dugo”. Hindi na kasi ako masyado nakikinig sa c.d. player ko more on mp3 and at my computer. I don’t know pa yung about the solo thing. So ayun nga. I listened to their album and read yung mga nakalagay sa c.d. nila. I think it’s Japs who said that he was saving some names na pasasalamatan so malalagay niya for his solo album.

I think Rico thinks of this idea matagal na. Maybe even before the release of their album. Siguro kaya he decided to do covers. Sayang talaga. I’m disappointed. I thought they will stay longer. All beginning has to end. Sadly, it’s now time for Rico to end his life with the band. I mean like playing with the band. Now I’m thinking if Japs will be the one who will replace Rico as the vocalist. Or get a female vocalist ala Eraserheads. Hahaa…

I’m not really into celebrities pero sa ngayon parang I like Dennis Trillo. First, because when my father saw Dennis and Ely at S.O.P. he said that they look the same. So parang I’m brainwashed by my father that ely looks like dennis so I like Dennis na din. Plus, I found out thanks to Circus mailing list, Dennis also is a die hard Eraserheads fan. And that actually made me love him more. Hahaha… he said that he is so amazed on how they create music… etc… basta I love them both.

I knew a lot of people using babe, beh, bebeh, baby to their love one. And I really find it baduy. I think calling him or her by name is sweeter than that. Because there’s a lot of people na nagtatawgan niyan so parang walang originality. And I also think that maybe he already used it with his ex so parang there is still memory of her. One thing, hindi pa kayo kasalnoh. Siguro kung mag-asawa na kayo pwede na din. It’s just my opinion.

Tuloy pa ba ang ligaya para sa Rivermaya?

Since last week I heard lots of rumor about the band being disbanded. I received news from my friends in various size and shapes. Walan na daw ang Maya. So I checked their yahoo group. Sabi dun hindi daw and they will have another album. I think it’s from Japs. So when I saw that I didn’t browse pa yung mga message kasi sayang sa load… hahaha… tapos now sa Myx News yung mga bands nag comment about that. Yun nga hindi pa daw sila sure sa news. Pero yung message ni Raymund parang may pahawatig na mag di-disband na nga. Ewan ko… leche…

After the lost of the heads, now Rivermaya naman. Well not yet confirmed. I think if that will happen ito yung parang susunod sa heads. I mean I can’t think of any bands na nag disband na sobrang sikat. Speaking of sikat, I thought they are popular sa Thailand and sa iba pang lugar sa Asia. Sayang naman if they let it go. Andyan na… biglang tatalikuran pa. Well, whatever happened to them I’ll still support them all the way.

1) Why do you have a blogger account?
+um… I just want to have a little space in the net like other people do.

2) Who influence you to have one?
+influence? I don’t know… maybe the surroundings. Sometimes, like when I search something, halos puro sa blog nanggaling.

3) In blogging, who do you look up to?
+hmmm…I like the blogging style of nielsen. He blogs about music, I really admire yung mga ideas niya yung comments and humor. I also like the blog of my friend.

4) Why come up with that blog title?
+actually, The Carbon Stereoxide of the Ultraelectromagnetic Petite Girl is not the first title that came up to my mind. I think its Petite Girl Rocks Her Enormous World. I think its common or walang dating so I decided to change it. Then as I browse yung mga pinag po-post ko, parang tungkol sa music plus e-heads. For me, yung Stereoxide is parang about music. You know, STEREO-xide parang stereo sa radio. Tapos yung Ultraelectromagnetic parang exaggeration lang. so yun. Incidentally, yan yung last and first album ng heads with Ely.

5) Do you read blogs? Which blog do you prefer reading?
+ yeah… I like to read blogs to those people I know and people who blogs about people I know. Kasi siyempre kilala ko siya di ba, makaka relate ako.

6) Describe your blog.
+umm… my blog reflects about me. Simple lang. then favorite ko ang black and pink. Tapos nilagyan ko lang ng pics from my fave bands. tapos siguro minsan wrong grammar… hahaha… so it reflects nga about me…

7) When you write something for your blog , do you consider the people who will read your blog or just blog about what you want?
+ umm… I just blog about what I want to tell the world. I don’t care about the people who read (at first). Don’t get me wrong I like the idea that people will give their time reading my blog lalo na sa mga taong di ko kilala. What I mean is hindi ko iniisip sa simula yung readers like parang ang pangit ng pi-nost ko. Eh ganun talaga pangit yung mga pinopost ko…hahaha…I’m blogging for myself not for other people. And how they will know me if I think of the reader first. It’s like having camera all over your home ala Pinoy Big Brother.

8) What do you mostly blog about?
+Like what my blog title says The Carbon Stereoxide of the Ultraelectromagnetic Petite Girl, music. Yung mga magandang albums or videos. Then about me at times when wala akong magawa or walng maisip na i-blog.

9) Do you have other blog accounts other than blogger?
+ yeah… I have multiply and myspace account. Pero hindi ko masyado na update. Tapos meron ding xanga and easy journal pero di ko na o-open.

10) How long will you keep your blog running?
+I don’t know. Until I know my password and until I have ideas to post and hanggang may urge para mag blog.
