“minsan tayo’y naging tunay na magkaibigan”
During a 6-hour break, you can expect literally anything and everything to happen.
Me, Anj, Lis, and Marj went to our org booth to pick up our org shirts, but no one was there. We ended up just hanging out and talking since we knew this would be our official tambayan next school year once we take charge of the organization. (We’re actually going to be 4th years next year, by the way!)
We started discussing who should be the next president, vice president, and so on. I was joking around, saying I was rooting for Anj—even though Anj is notorious for being absent all the time, haha! Then they started writing down candidate names on a piece of paper and asked me, "Saan mo gusto?" I told them I wanted to be the org moderator! Hahaha! Taas ng pangarap! I added that I’d also be perfectly content being the org mascot!
After laughing so hard, we went to the music room to work on our music project, where the tawanan just continued. Ang saya! Haha!
When lunch rolled around, they kept teasing me that they wanted to eat at my house. I told them no, so as we headed out, they started following me toward the jeepney stop. I decided to hide from them and sneak off to take the LRT instead—tinaguan ko sila.
But I made a huge mistake: I left my phone! When I arrived home, my mom told me they had texted her asking if I was safe. The next thing I knew, they were already standing outside our gate! So ayun, pinapasok ko sila. Cue more endless laughing. They were like, "Nagalala kami sa'yo, akala namin nakidnap ka na ng mga naka-FX!" It felt like a little experiment for me. I proved that di nila ako matitiis—they just can't have fun without me! Hahaha!
Afterward, we went to MOA. First, we ate at a place that sells crepes (I forgot the name, basta nilibre kami ni Lis). Then we went to Timezone, played games, and took pictures. We got so caught up in the fun that we didn't realize... we were already late for our 5:00 PM class! We ended up arriving back at school past 5:30 PM. Wala lang, ang saya lang talaga.
Lis and Anj have been my friends since 1st-year college. I have to admit, I had a hard time dealing with them during our freshman year, but as the year came to an end, nalaman na namin ang kiliti ng bawat isa. As for Marj, she’s been my classmate since 1st-year high school! Now, the four of us are together. Rambol talaga 'pag ganun.
I think that’s what sets us apart from our other blockmates. We’ve been through so much together... naks! So wala na silang magagawa dun. I honestly can't imagine being close friends with any other blockmates if I weren't in this course.
