“hula hindi sapat… bukas magwawakas nga ba ang lahat”

Nakaka hock tong story na sa sabihin ko. Just a few days ago I posted about this thing about I don’t want to work for another country and paulit ulit ko na sinabi na it may change without prior notice… gosh… my mother told me that she asked his tito na may pagka fortune teller. So she asked if my brother ay makakaalis to go to work for other country( kasi nursing nga yung kinukuha niya. And mostly kaya nag-nursing para mag work for other country and I think ganun din yung bro ko) sabi niya hindi daw pero mas nakikita niya na ako ang aalis. At ang ka ka shock shock dun ay sinabi pa niya na wala naman daw akong ka balak balak na umalis which is actually true. (you can check this..)

Sabi din niya maari daw na maaring hindi pa ako tapos sa pag aaral ay aalis na ko… grabeh… I also remember back in high school na hinulaan ako nung mom ng friend ko at sinabing aalis nga and I will make a huge decision. So mga 2 years ago nayun eh parang hindi pa naman nangyayari yung aalis pero yung huge decision maaring nangyari na pero ewan… I don’t now if it’s true or co incidence ang lahat… only time could tell… and I will tell it to you definitely…!!indescribable

i will not work outside the country *

“Dito tayo sa dilim kapit sa patalim”

A lot of people always ask me whether I will work outside the country after I graduate in college. I always say I don’t know. But deep inside I really don’t want to work abroad at this moment. Well it may change without prior notice. Many of my relatives encourage me to go abroad because almost all of my aunts and uncles are working abroad. (I have a light answer na of course sa isip ko lang. isang reason ay din a ako makakanood ng gigs or hear pinoy music.) Hehe… what I learned from my business professors are we could stay and work here lalo na in our line of work which is business nga. One of my proffs told a story about some people from other countries are studying here then after that they will go back in their place and apply what they learned there. So if that’s the case kung sila naniniwla sa ating capabilities sa pagtuturo natin bakit hindi natin i-apply an ating natutunan here in our country. Dito tayo natuto bakit natin i-apply sa ibang bansa. I know, money is the cause of all of these. I won’t blame if you would like to work abroad, it’s just me. I want to serve my country. I always say that I want to make a difference and I think staying and working for my country will make me different already or perhaps a step in making a difference. Pero I will repeat that it may change without prior notice. Hehehe…

I love dreaming. Day dreaming, sleeping while dreaming… any types of it basta dream. Maybe because when it’s a dream I able to do things that I can’t do in reality. I able to have, do, experience what I want that it seems I can’t do in real life. But in the end I hate dreaming because when I wake up I will face the truth that what I did in my sleep is just a plain dream.

Last night kasi napaganipan ko si Yael… haha… nasa mall kami… and we are so close basta ang sweet. Pero naputol kasi ang ingay nila. Hehehe… that’s what I hate about it, because dreams is just a dream.

2nd year... high school?

July 8, Sunday

It’s my lolo’s party! Usually it’s a small get together of my relatives at my mother’s side. I’m quite tired of people when they see you they will say “ay dalaga na siya”. Hello? I am 17 already. It is also funny when they will ask what year or grade are you. So I will say 2nd year. And they will ask high school? hehe… of course college. Parang good thing yun di ba? Kasi I looked like high school. ang daming nagtanong sa akin yan at laging tinatanong kung high school and parang pag sinabi kong college shock na shock sila.
So yun I got to see different faces but with the same blood. Nakausap ko yung cousin ko, actually I don’t know kung cousin talaga basta related to me na may anak na. yung husband niya pumunta sa ibang bansa. And so on… bakit ko ba kinukwento? Basta… 20 years old pa lang siya and may 1 ½ years old na siya na anak. Siya yung kalaro ko back in my childhood years. Kasabay ko maligo, kumain… tapos ngayon may anak na siya. So ako naman parang ang tanda ko na… hehehe…

“High Speed… Can anybody stop this thing?”

Ok. Its 7-7-7 they say it’s a lucky day. Well, maybe yes. I saw Francis Reyes from the Dawn band. Papunta ako sa sakayan ng jeep. Pauwi na ako galing sa skul and then me and my friends just ate somewhere near our school. so yun, I saw him malapit sa sakayan ng jeep. He was with this girl. Maybe his daughter, pamangkin or whatever. I don’t know if he is married already. But anyways long hair na naman pala siya. Kasi sa The Ramon Bautista Show short hair pa siya nun eh. Kaya parang namamalikmata ako. I am asking myself is it Francis thousand times and if it is one of my stupid dreams again. Tapos nakatingin siya sa akin. I wonder what he thinks about me. tinatanong kaya niya sa isip niya kung kilala ko siya. I wonder what famous people think when they are walking in a public place. Like kanina kasi… weeh eye contact kami pre… hehe… I mean I wonder if he knows that I know him. kasi in reality konti lang siguro ang nakaka kilala or kung hindi naman makamukha sa kanya. Gets? I mean dun sa nilalakaran ko puro mga tambay, driver… parang impossible na kilala nila si Francis. Then nung malayo na sila, I saw this car that I think is owned by Francis. Sayang forgot to memorize his plate number. Blue siya na… ok I don’t know anything about cars. Tapos medto gasgas yung gilid ng car niya. Tapos yung plate number niya may nakalagay na “angat pinoy”. Isa yun sa clue ko na nagbigay sa akin ng information na that car is from him. and because of watching Detective Conan back in vacation days I checked kung medyo mainit pa yung gilid medyo mainit pa nga so it means kaka patay lang ng makina. Siguro kung nakalagay lang yung car and without knowing that Francis was there I wouldn’t know na galling yun sa isang “celebrity or famous” na tao. Kasi medyo gasgas. I don’t know anything about cars but I know if maganda o pangit yung car. Hehehe… so ayun.

What else? Nasira na naman yung earphones ko for the 200th time. Nakakasar talaga. Tapos bumila ako agad sa Glorieta. Asar talaga. I always buy these cheap earphones. Pero dapat pala yung mahal na at least isang beses lang akoa bibili. Wala eh… nanghihinayang ako… tsk tsk… leche talaga…

Ok. My friends don’t know about this site. I think 2 of my friends know about this, my kalokohans… why I’m not telling about this? So I could blog about them… hahaha… If they know about this will I post something like my last post? You know about the “first experiences”, how I don’t like some of my blockmates or professors. Mas ok ako sa mga taong nagbabasa because they are so clueless about me but because of reading my post I think mas makikilala pa nila ako than my friends. I guess. Because I’m not that so open to them and I don’t like to be that open like some of my classmates. Haha!! minsan mas gusto ko pang mag-isa. Kahit sa mga projects or assignments. I don’t know… I’m a loner by choice… hehehe… nah… I am not soooo loner naman gusto ko lang mapag isa minsan. I have friends. I have lots of them. pero as I said, I’m not that loner. My mga loner moments lang ako because I really wanted to be alone. Hehehe… ang gulo…

Rage Against the Machine, also known as Rage or RATM,
was an American heavy metal band noted both for their
diligent political conscience and for their pioneering
blend of hard rock and rap which over time would come to
be known variously as Rock, Rap Rock or Rap Metal (Both
known under Rapcore), Nu Metal, Hard Rock, Funk Metal
and Alternative Rock or Alternative Metal — as well as
their vocal militant leftist beliefs. At the point of
their break-up in 2000, Rage Against the Machine had
become one of the most popular political hard rock bands
of all time, and certainly of the 1990s. Currently,
three members of the band, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford,
and Brad Wilk, are now members of Audioslave, featuring
former Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell.

Widely regarded as the definitive originators of the
rap-rock genre, Rage drew inspiration from early
metallic instrumentation to create an almost totally new
style of music. The coalescence of rhyming styles and
vocals along with their sound, especially Tom Morello's
guitar techniques, made RATM difficult to confine to any
one particular musical genre, compelling a new
classification.

Tom Morello had just left his old band and decided to
start his own band. Morello and Brad Wilk were in a club
in L.A where Zack de la Rocha was rapping. Morello was
impressed by de la Rocha, and asked him to join his
band. De la Rocha had a childhood friend, Tim
Commerford, who was drafted in on bass. The band was now
composed of Tom Morello (guitar), Zack de la Rocha
(Vocals), Brad Wilk (Drums) and Tim Commerford (Bass).
Their name was derived from the unreleased album "Rage
Against the Machine" by de la Rocha's former group,
Inside Out, as well as being a reference to a speech by
Karl Marx, where he told workers to "Rage Against The
Machine". Shortly after forming, they gave their first
public performance in a living room in Orange County,
California and self-produced a 12-song cassette which
already included songs like "Bullet in the Head" [1].
Several record labels expressed interest and they
eventually signed with Epic Records. Morello said, "Epic
agreed to everything we asked--and they've followed
through... we never saw a[n] [ideological] conflict as
long as we maintained creative control."

Their debut album, the self-titled Rage Against the
Machine was released in late 1992. To promote the album
and its core message of social justice and equality, the
band went on tour, playing at Lollapalooza II and as
support for Suicidal Tendencies in Europe.

Mainstream success
Their second album, Evil Empire entered Billboard Top
200 chart at number one in 1996. A live video, also
titled Rage Against the Machine followed in 1997. The
following release, The Battle of Los Angeles also
debuted at number one in 1999, selling 450,000 copies
the first week and then going double-platinum.

Renegades, released shortly after the band's
dissolution, was a 2000 collection of covers of bands as
diverse as Devo, Cypress Hill, Minor Threat, MC5 and
even Bob Dylan. The following year saw the release of
another live video, The Battle of Mexico City.

A bootleg album of live and rare material fittingly
titled Live & Rare from 1997, was followed up by a
proper live release, Live at the Grand Olympic
Auditorium in 2003, an edited recording of their last
shows, September 12 and 13, 2000 at the Grand Olympic
Auditorium in Los Angeles. It was accompanied with an
expanded DVD release of the concerts.

On May 4th, 2006 the song Bulls on Parade entered VH1's
40 Greatest Metal Songs at #15.

Slapshock is one of the premier rapmetal bands of the
Philippines. The band was signed in 1998, when rapmetal
acts were being signed left and right by the major
recording companies. Six years into the business, it can
be safely said that Slapshock is no flash in the pan. To
date, they are the only band amongst those signed during
that particular genre's boom that is still visible and
active. While most acts have gone back to the
“underground,” Slapshock now has four major albums to
their name.

Whilst the band entered the business playing rapmetal,
the members are influenced by a lot of rock sub-genres:
Grunge, Metal, and glam, to name a few. It is upon
hearing Rage Against the Machine that all the members of
Slapshock all connected at the same time and decided
that yes, they want to do something as prolific as Rage.


Slapshock’s debut album, “4th Degree Burn” was released
in November 1999. “Agent Orange,” the first single off
the album, presented a very crunchy but still catchy
type of rapmetal. Follow up singles, “Evil Clown” and
“Sick Curtain” proved Slapshock’s craftsmanship and
talent.

Their second album, “Headtrip” proves there is no such
thing as a sophomore jinx for Slapshock. Released in
2001, “Headtrip” earned for the band a Platinum award.
With songs like “Get Away,” “Shezzo Wicked,” and
“Purple,” the band easily established themselves away
from the growing rapmetal crowd.

It is with their third album, “Project 11/41,” that the
band earned both commercial and critical acclaim. Four
singles were released from the set, proving the strength
and power of a Slapshock song. The band soon released a
remix album, “Back To The 2 Inch,” which contained
creative and innovative remixes of their songs. Famed
and respected local artists such as Raymund Marasigan
(Eraserheads, Sandwich), Anton Ramos (Chillout Project
series), and Rico Blanco (Rivermaya), collaborated with
Slapshock.

This year, Slapshock releases their fourth studio album,
“Novena.” The album displays impressive growth amongst
the musicians, as well as matured songwriting and
arranging. No longer caged in the “rapmetal” category,
Slapshock explores different genres like Latin and
Japanese music, a bit of reggae, and jazz as well.

It is hard to brush aside a band as talented and hard
working as Slapshock. Never negligent nor lenient, the
band continues to grow, experiment, and mature. As such,
Slapshock continues to make believers and fans of
regular listeners and casual audiences.

The Smashing Pumpkins are a popular American alternative
rock band which formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988.

Less influenced by punk rock than many of their
contemporaries, the Pumpkins have a densely layered and
guitar-heavy sound, containing elements of gothic rock,
heavy metal, power pop, psychedelic rock,
shoegazer-style production and, in later recordings,
electronica. The emotional tone of bandleader Billy
Corgan’s songs ranged from angry (“Bullet with Butterfly
Wings”) to compassionate (“Disarm”) to jubilant (“Cherub
Rock”).

Selling more than 40-million albums world-wide, the
Smashing Pumpkins were one of the most commercially
successful and critically acclaimed bands of the 1990s,
but internal fighting, diminishing sales, and cultural
vitality hampered the band in their later years, leading
to a 2000 break-up. In April of 2006, the band
officially announced they were reuniting and recording a
new album.

The Smashing Pumpkins were originally Billy Corgan
(guitar and vocals), James Iha (guitar), D'arcy Wretzky
(bass) and Jimmy Chamberlin (drums). However, Melissa
Auf der Maur replaced Wretzky in the final year (Dec.
1999 to Dec. 2000) of the band. The band also dealt with
several replacement drummers through 1997 and 1998
including Matt Walker and Kenny Aronoff during
Chamberlin's dismissal from the band.

Review:

Sino Sikat? is composed of Kat Agarrado on vocals, Nick Azarcon on guitars and Reli De Vera on drums. Their music is called Pinoy Soul with a touch of RnB and jazz. It is kind of weird because I bought this kind of cd. I am usually into rock alternative kind of sound. Why I bought this album? I love “So Blue” very much. And if they produced 2 beautiful songs already so it means they can have lots of it on their album. Kat’s voice is really powerful. In some parts of “Praning” I thought it’s by a guy yung skwaking and di ba?. But I listened to it closely and found it it’s only her. Kat also wrote lots of song in the album. “Praning”, “Prayer” and “Sino” has funny lyrics. I enjoyed listening to it. She uses slang words. Like aning, olats, skwaking though I don’t know what the latter means. In “Akin Ka” parang iba yung pag ka record. It’s like live. “Telepono” is quite upbeat song. Then it followed by slow “Pag-ibig”. When you hear it you definitely fall in love. yung “Prayer” parang may katunog. I don’t know if it’s “Rehab” by Amy Winehouse or any songs by Bob Marley. Well it doesn’t matter because it tells you to “If you want to gain you must first face the pain. I know I have to use my brain. Everything will be alright if you just keep the faith”. I really love that line because it’s really true. The album ends with “Sino”. Parang pinag laruan nila yung band name nila. “Feeling mo ika’y sikat wala namang dating. Sino nagsabi sa’yo?”. I really love this album because I can relate to it. kasi yung language sa mga songs yung mga ginagamit natin sa araw araw. In the songs it’s like I can see myself.

Who will like it?

Teens could relate to this song. Kasi nandito yung mga ordinary things that we do or say. Sabi din nila baby-making music din ito. For me hindi lahat. Siguro yung “Pag-ibig”, “Turning my safety off” and “So Blue”.

Best among the rest:

I’ll say “So Blue”, “Praning” and “Prayer”. But all of them is a must hear din.

It’s their third album pero ito lang yung meron ako so di ko masyado alam kung nag change na yung music nila. But I know “A New Tattoo” na everybody’s favorite. Well I agree. So sa Embrace naman they open it with a parang instrumental or pandagdag. Actually 10 lang yung mga kanta. “Alert The Armory” is parang preparing for war. You can feel the tension. Then sinundan naman ito ng “Frailty”. Parang continuation ng war na sinumulan nila sa “Alert the Armory”. Then next is “First of Summer”. Dito ko sila nasimulan magustuhan. Medyo upbeat. I really like yung umpisang tunog parang danceable tapos magiging rock. You know I’m suck in dancing but whenever it is being played parang I see myself dancing. I said to myself that I’ll dance in programs basta “First of Summer” ang tugtog. Hehehe… as the songs in the album progresses Gabby Alipe still doesn’t disappoint you. In “When Heroes Die” napaisip ako with the line “if I die will I be remembered?”. I also love “Reveal the Remedy”. I also like “Safety in Numbers”. I really like everything. The melody, the lyrics… everything!!. Well I’m hoping to hear Gab sing Filipino songs. Because they are really great in singing and crating English. Parang wala pa ata silang song na Filipino. I really like this album because it teaches me to listen to heavy deep rock. By the way Urbandub is from Cebu. It is composed by Gabby Alipe on vocals and guitars, Lalay Lim on Bass, John Mendoza on Drums and John Dinopol on guitars. This band is also other bands favorite band. So talagang magaling sila.

Who will like it?

Their fans definitely and adults. Medyo malalim yung mga songs. pero everybody will like it.

+Narinig ko na itong song na ito. You can say na walang bahid ni Rico yung song. O.k yung tono yung boses din. I’m really for Japs to be the vocalist. Although I’m not sure kung si Japs yung kumanta nun. Kaso yung lyrics parang common. And sana hindi na nila nilagyan ng kapamilya or kapuso. Pero ok naman yung message kasi it’s for the fans or grounders that still supporting them. I have my own interpretation din. For me, it’s more about the lost of Rico or yung current situation nila. I am a small bird after all

A few days ago I wrote about I am now loving my business subjects. And now I realized that I love myself. But not in the extent of parang nagiging negative na. Siguro I just more love myself now than before. I learned to love what I suppose and should love. To tell you frankly like most of teenagers I have my own insecurities or I dreamed of someone else. Like being intelligent one, famous, whatsoever. Now I came to the point that I just like who I am. I accept what I can do and the things I can’t do because that’s me. I think I can’t be the president of the student council nor be suma cumlaude. I think I can’t handle it. I just love my low profile life (what?!!) hehe… but I think I can be somebody that no one else could be. Now I am searching for who I am. It takes time and I think even my time is over I still don’t know myself well. So why not start knowing about myself? Wala namang mawawala di ba?

IKON

“Nobody wants to see us together…”

Hehehehe… I put that lyric because my tile is IKON, the newest show on RP 9 and that song is from Akon.
It’s a contest that will showcase famous Filipino solo/group artist that will compete to win the title IKON (icon). I think whoever win this title will go to Malaysia and other countries and represent the Philippines. It is shown on RP 9 every Sundays 7:00 onwards and hosted by Asia Agcaoili. The first contestant was Sitti, the bossa nova babe. She sang I don’t know the title but it goes “Kung gusto kong sumayaw at gusto mo ring kumanta…”and the last was her hit song “Para sa akin”. The next contestant for the solo category was Noel Cabangon. He sang two songs. I don’t know the title of the first song but the last one he sang “Kanlungan”. If I will choose between the two I think I will choose Noel for singing his songs really touching and uplifting. But being the IKON, you will go to different country; I think the style of Sitti will work than Noels’.
In group category True Faith and Sponge Cola were there to compete against the title. True Faith sang “Araw Gabi”. In the other hand Sponge Cola represents the rock scene and sang “Tuliro” and “Bitiw”. If I have to choose… do I need to choose between them? They are different kasi. True Faith is on the acoustic side while Sponge Cola is on the rock side. Pero kung kailangan talaga I will choose Sponge Cola. Honestly, hindi ganun kaganda voice ni Yael pero in the band sabi nga ni Ely hindi necessary na maganda ang boses. I think song writing is more needed i-add na din yung charisma. So I think they can compete sa ibang country. Looks kasi is plus points.
Matagal ko nang pinapangarap na magkaroon ng ganitong show. Magaling!! Kasi the one who are competing is not your ordinary contestants. Meron silang “K”, I mean if you compare sa mga new artist katulad yung mga idol idol. Yung mga kasali sa group category ay: Kala, Kapatid, Chicosci, Sponge Cola, True Faith, Chilitees, Kjwan… marami pa di ko alam yung buong list. pero if I have to choose again between this list I will choose Chilitees and Sponge Cola. Sa solo si Sitti pero pwede pang mabago as the show progresses.

PS. Sana kasali ang urban dub, Pupil, Rivermaya and up dharma down. Pero Malabo na yung Rivermaya eh…

My Uban Life...

When I thought of that title I hysterically laugh about it. Until know while I am writing I am still laughing. LOL!!! I have this weird habit of plucking my white hairs. At first you think it’s not weird because you see a lot of people doing that but I am doing it all by myself. Isn’t weird? I really don’t like having white hair or it’s called uban in Filipino. I am only 17 lang pero I have na. I think it’s in

the genes eh. My father said na teenager pa lang siya meron na din siyang uban… hehehe… white hair. To pluck my white hair I will face on the mirror and brush it. Then parang itataas mo yung hair or do weird movements basta dapat makakita lang ng white hair… basta nakakaloka… manipis na yung buhok ko dahil ata dito. I have thousands of uban… hahaha!!! pero yung teacher ko she really loves my hair kasi soft daw at black na black. My hair can be really deceiving. Kasi yung white hair ko nasa loob. And that’s my uban life… lol!!

Akala ko I will get bored with my subjects but I don’t know what’s up to me because I kinda like my business subjects. And it’s kinda weird.i never felt this way before. Hahaha… Pero o.k. nayon diba at least nagugustuhan ko na yung course ko. I heard a lot of people saying that at first they don’t like their course pero as time goes by naugustuhan na nila. I think dapat lang na magustuhan because eto na yung ikabubuhay ko in the near future. Yung mga pinag-aaralan namin ay mga “chismis” or gossips as what my teachers called their lessons about the business industry. And my teachers are kinda great. My isa pa akong hate na subject that I think eto yung hindi mag babago. I will hate it for the rest of my life- P.E. asar na asar talaga ako dyan. Hindi naman kailangan sa business niyan. Leche…

For everyone's info.Nope hindi maayos ang pag-alis ni Blanco sa maya.It was not
a mutual decision, and none of us thought it was a good idea.Ang daming planong
nasira, at napahiya kami sa madaming tao.Warner Asia, Warner Philippines and the
Grounders included.Everyday we get inquiries for gigs here and mostly
abroad.Lahat yon nacancel.Hindi siya nagpaalam ng maayos and to this day, not a
single 'sorry' has beenuttered by him.

It’s so sad that they end in a bad way. Bakit ba tuwing may nag be-break like kahit sa relationship laging nagkakaglit lagi. I mean sana naging maayos yung break-up. sayang yung mga years na nilaan for that friemdship… I understand Mark. Kasi di ba ang rami na nilang napag daanan, ang rami na nilang achievements, tapos sikat na sikat sila not only here but also outside the country. Yun yung dream nila. Or I think it’s everybody’s dream to be that popular.

I tried to convince him to stay even if OBVIOUSLY he SHOULD stay.Ayaw parin
niya. Nilagay niya sa sariling kamay ang kinabukasan ng banda, at binasura in
favor of HIMSELF. Again, we are a team. His leaving the band was contrary to
what the team wantedand a major setback with regards to our long term plans.
Plans that we have been working on forthe last 6 years.

I have learned what forgiveness is and it it very easy for meto give him that.
But I also know what true friendship is. Both are earned and he will haveto move
mountains to get it, if he even wants is at all. Kung ayaw niya, wag niya.I
agree na dapat walang siraan, pero dapat wala ring lokohan.The issue between me
and Blanco is personal and I want you guys to understandthat I am not trying to
get you guys to share my views. Mike, Japs & Lizza have their ownways of
dealing with the situation. I know what he means to you and what he once meantto
me. The recent event have been too heavy to keep inside and I am sorry if I
havemade you guys feel bad at times. Again, you have always had our love and
energy and Ibelieve you deserve our honesty, through good times and bad times.
Let’s just leave it atthat.

Stupid dreams part 2

Napaginipan ko some days ago about this guy that I don’t want to tell who, he kissed me in the lips. When I woke I felt it was really true. I started asking myself “nangyari nga ba yun?” mga ilang minutes I thought it was true. But I found the reality it’s just a dream. Talagang parang naramdaman ko yung kiss. I don’t know if it happened in my dreams or gising na ako, I touched my lips. Hahah…

Mga gumulantang sa aking mundo sa nakaraang araw/week...

I received a handful of appalling news whether it’s in the music, showbiz, politics and my life area. In the music area, you know that I am still in the bolt from the blue about Rico and Rivermaya, maybe because they still mum about the issue. But I think they have this “explosive” confession on the June issue of Myx Mag. Then next is about the blind item about Ely Buendia, again. That he is the reason about delayed of the contest that he judged. Another is I read in the yahoo groups I read about Raimund and Myrene is still not married. Shocking isn’t it? in the radio area, mga few years ago I am listening in the radio station like Campus Radio, W Rock , Mellow and NU in the side. These radio stations ay medyo less talk and more music. So ngayon nung nawala yung Campus more on NU na ako and konting RT at Magic. Then pag nakikinig ako more on talk na like sa RT and Magic, medyo daring na yung mga pinag-uusapan nila. I never thought that is allowed sa radio. Like talking about the size of your wang to your“experiences”.

In showbiz area naman, you all know about Paris Hilton being house arrested. I am thwarted. Pero I don’t know if she is back on jail. Nakakaasar kasi they thought money is so powerful. Eto ding si Lindsay Lohan, she is such a loser. Both of them actually. It’s so sad because children idolized them. I mean they should be a GOOD role model. What will those children might think, na it’s good to drink and take drugs basta my money… sa local naman, we all know about the Gretchen/John and Ruffa/Ylmaz issues. Nakakaloka na talaga ang mga nangyayari sa planet earth.

Sa life ko naman, I learned that this friend of mine na itago na lang natin siya sa pangalang Real ay kinasal na at may anak na itago nating sa pangalang Dj. She is one of my good friends sa high school because she is my classmate for 2 years. Nakaka disappoint because she is intelligent pa naman, I mean she could be the next whatsoever if she just forget about sex. Now I have this thing on my mind that I will not be pregnant, maybe when I am married pwede na. Kasi I have a classmate na teenage mother, yung cousin ko din and I don’t want to be in that line. Pero nakaka inspire thin because they are not living the “teenage life” anymore. But I am still proud of her because she still continues to have this “angel” in her life. I mean it’s so easy to get rid of her by simply buying “pamparegala” or anything na mabibili sa quiapo. But you know everything happens for a reason. I think with that baby you will be stronger person, you will learn to appreciate things, you will learn to love life… but I know it’s hard but I like to tell you that I’m just here waiting to call me. You may not believe me or find it just a joke because it’s coming from me (ako kasi yung parang laging nag papatawa or everything I said is joke) but not with this kind of situation my friend. Sana you will continue your studies because as I said you are intelligent. Don’t make your angel be hindrance to your success because she is not. It should be your inspiration. She is quite pretty. I saw the picture in your friendster. I wish you all the contentment in life.

First day hi

“First day of school dapat cool na cool mas malamig pa sa tubig ng swimming pool”

Ok ok ok… pasukan na… on Wednesday it’s our first day of classes. It’s weird because I kind of miss school. Then when I’m in school, I kind of hate it. gulo talaga ng utak ko. I miss my friends slash classmates. I miss studying in an air conditioned room (we have aircon in our home but we open it during night only) , I miss my professors (??? Sipsip), I miss commuting, I miss my baon, I miss taft fast food restaurants, I miss my ugly uniform, I miss St. scho… hahaha… well I am sophomore already. Ang bilis. It’s like just yesterday I am in kindergarten, and then I’m step closer to my commencement exercise (yan pa rin ba tawag pag college. Whatever!) I miss wearing toga… hehehe… but siguro before graduating I must memorize first my college hymn, alma mater or whatever you call that. sooory st. scholastica di ko pa memorize… but I know you will forgive me because I still stick in your school in spite of irrational reasons in mind ( it is because there’s no boys… not…) do you know that I really like to transfer to other school but I’m still thankful that you’re on my side (what the…sino na sa side ko si st. scho? ang labo ko…) I mean buti na lang you still accept me I had been bad in your school (nah… di naman) but what I can do? I think all I can do is to stick to you for 3 more years and now I am starting to live the one year from that three. Hehehe… buti na lang na impeach agad ako dun sa org na sinalihan ko. Hahaha… ;> I am not attending daw the meetings. Eh wala silang magagawa busy ang sked ko noh, bakit ko pa sila uunahin I will not earn golden points. I still can’t believe 2nd year na ko… ang saya.. hehe… ang babaw ko noh… yep that’s me… mababaw pero deep…

I saw the blind item about ely buendia yesterday. Saktong sakto lang kasi yung pinapanood ko yung America’s next top model ata yun nag commercial. Then di ko sinasadyang nalipat sa 7. tamang tama yung pinapakita is about sa isang rakista. So I na intriga ako. Seldom na nagkakaroon ng blind item sa mga rockstars.(well, but not foe ely suki nay an eh). I can’t understand at first kasi baklang words yung ginagamit. Ang catch dun ay yung rakistang yun ay nag papaimportante. I think that happened when ely became the judge in Pinoy Pop Superstar. The reason why the show na na-late daw because of that rakista. Ang reason daw ay dahil nag-aaway yung rakista at ang kanyang “jowang manager”. So sino paba yung may jowang manager. I can/t think of other rockstars kundi si ely lang. so malay mo may iba pang rockstar na may jowang manager at nag judge sa isang contest. Pero lalong naging clear sa akin ang lahat when nabanggit yung Mongol. Tapos itago daw sa pangalang Benny Espiritu. I am not sure if Benny nga basta sounds like that. kakaiba talaga si ely ha, he’s everywhere talaga. Yung about nga kay Rico Blanco hindi masyado lumalabas sa t v. only sa mga music channels plus Wazzup…
I have something in my mind regarding issue like kung naniniwala ako o hindi pero wag na lang. to give respect to the rock icon. Naks!!

2) Prinsesa by 6cyclemind- bosa nova ang feel sa song na ito. Parang kakaiba kasi alam nating isang rock song ito at pati yung band so kakaiba talaga pero ok naman.

“Sinong marunong pumunta pwede ba akong sumama sa Divisoria…”

That song is nothing to do what I will post. I didn’t go to divisoria. We went to Glorrieta with my lil brothers and my mother. Then I went to the record store and bought Rivermaya Live and Acoustic Featuring Slapshock. I buy that c.d. because there are videos included there. My mind is still in shock about Rico left the band. So maybe to stay away from nostalgia I bought that c.d. I also bought this Fudge magazine where Rivermaya is in the cover, thinking that Rico and the band will say something more about the rumors. But no, they didn’t. pero hindi ko pa masyado nababasa. There’s a lot of reading materials still on hold. I’m also looking forward to the Myx Magazine. I think they are also in the cover. I also bought Stainless Longannisa by bob ong. I still not able to read it because I’m not yet finish in reading America is the Heart. Nobela eh. Ang haba.

Replacing A Vocalist

Um… I just want to make a list yung mga banda na nag replace ng kanilang vocalist. Ito lang yung alama ko:

I heard Rivermaya is replacing their vocalist because Rico left the band. I also heard I don’t know if it’s true, but they are planning to have this reality talent search mala Rockstar Inxs.
As you can see in my list, some of the bands na ni-replace by their own member ay mas maganda ang kinalanbasan, yung iba lang. take the situation of Sandwich, they are big now unlike dati, I guess. Rivermaya, maganda din ang kinalabasan when Rico takeover Bamboo’s position. Let’s see naman yung mga ni-replace na hindi ka member. Nung nawala si Ely at pinalitan ni Kris Dancel who joined the group but now eventually nag disband din sila at ngayon ay naging Cambio na. Sa Mojofly naman, I can’t say whether Lougee made the band more popular because I don’t know Mojofly’s popularity when Kitchie was still there but all I can say is they are stable naman with today’s band scene. Like when they have a gig in my school, I can say that sila yung isa sa malakas ang tilian ng students. Siguro thanks to that shampoo commercial and Ali (read: ALL girls school). Silent Sanctuary is an unknown band back then pero ngayon nasa myx hit chart yung song nila. Sa south border naman, every time na ni-re replace ang vocalist kumakagat naman sa panlasa ng tao. I think being lucky is also included here.
What I’m trying to say is, people agrees and accepts on whatever changes that occurred, whether these bands were replaced by old members or by people outside the band. Sabi nga nila “the only constant thing in life is change” (haha tama ba?) sana rivermaya’s popularity will be the same whatever changes will occur.

I have been with the group from the start, and after 14 great years, I am now quite excited about the chance to finally do other things with my life, pursue endeavors outside of the entertainment spotlight. These past few weeks there’s a lot of speculation about Rico and the band. Like Rico will go solo and name it Blanco which at first pa lang I know it’s not true. If he names it like that it will be like Bamboo. Anyways, at the message above it’s lucid that Rico will do something outside the entertainment industry which is kind of sad. I read at Pinoy Mag he tells that he wanted to study fine arts either here or outside the country. It’s depressing that someone like Rico will leave the music industry. But it’s ok because he initiated a million flames

Maybe it’s true his work is done in the music industry so now he is doing another thing that ever since he wanted to do. It’s helping other people. But I think from the start pa lang nakakatulong na siya. And yes, it’s by his ingenuity towards making music.

Ang daming umaalis ngayon ng biglaan. Karina, manager of Mojofly di na nila manager. So I am worried because maybe Mojofly is next band that will vanish. Sugarfree muntik muntikan na din pala. Naku if many good bands will disappear one by one yung mga predictions of other people will be true that this “bandamania” will be gone soon. +America is in the Heart- I’m not yet finish reading it. It’s about the life of a poor Filipino peasant boy who wanted to go to America. Lot of struggles came at his life. And…. I don’t know I’m still reading it.

I heard a while a go at hit 99.5 Rt that Rico really left Rivermaya. I don’t get it. Why he left the  band eh they are very popular here and outside the country. It’s a shocker. Yung last gig of the band was last May 4 with Sandwich and Pupil at Metro Bar. I was about to go there, kaso lang I have no money. If they just tell that’s their last gig pumunta sana ako. Now he is going solo daw.

Now there’s a lots of thoughts coming from my head. Why vocalists leave the band and go solo? Here’s a list of some vocalist na nag solo.

+Ely Buendia- nag solo siya even if he is still at eraserheads. Pero after that he continued to be the vocalist of the band. Then after that he formed another band-The Pupil.

+Jet Pangan-but he eventually went back sa kanyang band na The Dawn.

+Barbie Almalbis-after Hungry Young Poets naging Barbie’s Cradle then ngayon she goes solo.

+Kitchie Nadal- Mojofly’s ex-vocalist plus Rico’s cousin.

+Dong Abay- formerly vocalist of Yano

+Rico Blanco (?)- I don’t know…

Sana it’s not like eraserheads break-up. I hope Rico and his ex-band mates have still the communication and friendship. It’s weird nga. Last week ata yun, I was listening to their last album “Isang Ugat, Isang Dugo”. Hindi na kasi ako masyado nakikinig sa c.d. player ko more on mp3 and at my computer. I don’t know pa yung about the solo thing. So ayun nga. I listened to their album and read yung mga nakalagay sa c.d. nila. I think it’s Japs who said that he was saving some names na pasasalamatan so malalagay niya for his solo album.

I think Rico thinks of this idea matagal na. Maybe even before the release of their album. Siguro kaya he decided to do covers. Sayang talaga. I’m disappointed. I thought they will stay longer. All beginning has to end. Sadly, it’s now time for Rico to end his life with the band. I mean like playing with the band. Now I’m thinking if Japs will be the one who will replace Rico as the vocalist. Or get a female vocalist ala Eraserheads. Hahaa…

I’m not really into celebrities pero sa ngayon parang I like Dennis Trillo. First, because when my father saw Dennis and Ely at S.O.P. he said that they look the same. So parang I’m brainwashed by my father that ely looks like dennis so I like Dennis na din. Plus, I found out thanks to Circus mailing list, Dennis also is a die hard Eraserheads fan. And that actually made me love him more. Hahaha… he said that he is so amazed on how they create music… etc… basta I love them both.

I knew a lot of people using babe, beh, bebeh, baby to their love one. And I really find it baduy. I think calling him or her by name is sweeter than that. Because there’s a lot of people na nagtatawgan niyan so parang walang originality. And I also think that maybe he already used it with his ex so parang there is still memory of her. One thing, hindi pa kayo kasalnoh. Siguro kung mag-asawa na kayo pwede na din. It’s just my opinion.

Tuloy pa ba ang ligaya para sa Rivermaya?

Since last week I heard lots of rumor about the band being disbanded. I received news from my friends in various size and shapes. Walan na daw ang Maya. So I checked their yahoo group. Sabi dun hindi daw and they will have another album. I think it’s from Japs. So when I saw that I didn’t browse pa yung mga message kasi sayang sa load… hahaha… tapos now sa Myx News yung mga bands nag comment about that. Yun nga hindi pa daw sila sure sa news. Pero yung message ni Raymund parang may pahawatig na mag di-disband na nga. Ewan ko… leche…

After the lost of the heads, now Rivermaya naman. Well not yet confirmed. I think if that will happen ito yung parang susunod sa heads. I mean I can’t think of any bands na nag disband na sobrang sikat. Speaking of sikat, I thought they are popular sa Thailand and sa iba pang lugar sa Asia. Sayang naman if they let it go. Andyan na… biglang tatalikuran pa. Well, whatever happened to them I’ll still support them all the way.

+um… I just want to have a little space in the net like other people do.

2) Who influence you to have one?
+influence? I don’t know… maybe the surroundings. Sometimes, like when I search something, halos puro sa blog nanggaling.

3) In blogging, who do you look up to?
+hmmm…I like the blogging style of nielsen. He blogs about music, I really admire yung mga ideas niya yung comments and humor. I also like the blog of my friend.

4) Why come up with that blog title?
+actually, The Carbon Stereoxide of the Ultraelectromagnetic Petite Girl is not the first title that came up to my mind. I think its Petite Girl Rocks Her Enormous World. I think its common or walang dating so I decided to change it. Then as I browse yung mga pinag po-post ko, parang tungkol sa music plus e-heads. For me, yung Stereoxide is parang about music. You know, STEREO-xide parang stereo sa radio. Tapos yung Ultraelectromagnetic parang exaggeration lang. so yun. Incidentally, yan yung last and first album ng heads with Ely.

+ yeah… I like to read blogs to those people I know and people who blogs about people I know. Kasi siyempre kilala ko siya di ba, makaka relate ako.

+umm… my blog reflects about me. Simple lang. then favorite ko ang black and pink. Tapos nilagyan ko lang ng pics from my fave bands. tapos siguro minsan wrong grammar… hahaha… so it reflects nga about me…

7) When you write something for your blog , do you consider the people who will read your blog or just blog about what you want?
+ umm… I just blog about what I want to tell the world. I don’t care about the people who read (at first). Don’t get me wrong I like the idea that people will give their time reading my blog lalo na sa mga taong di ko kilala. What I mean is hindi ko iniisip sa simula yung readers like parang ang pangit ng pi-nost ko. Eh ganun talaga pangit yung mga pinopost ko…hahaha…I’m blogging for myself not for other people. And how they will know me if I think of the reader first. It’s like having camera all over your home ala Pinoy Big Brother.

8) What do you mostly blog about?
+Like what my blog title says The Carbon Stereoxide of the Ultraelectromagnetic Petite Girl, music. Yung mga magandang albums or videos. Then about me at times when wala akong magawa or walng maisip na i-blog.

+ yeah… I have multiply and myspace account. Pero hindi ko masyado na update. Tapos meron ding xanga and easy journal pero di ko na o-open.
